Edward Baker Lincoln, the second child of Abraham Lincoln and Mary Todd Lincoln, was born in 1846. He was named after one of his father's political fiends, Edward Baker. Like two of his brothers, William Lincoln (1850-62) and Thomas Lincoln (1853-1871), Edward did not reach adulthood and died in 1850.
